travel TERMS & CONDITIONS
These are general 'Terms and Conditions' relating to Bus and Coach travel as operated by Farrelly's Coaches Ltd. By booking with us for any of our travel services, you agree to do so under the following T&C's;
General T&C's for all passengers of Farrelly's Coaches
- All travel must be paid for in advance. We require 50% deposit to hold a booking and the remaining balance must be paid before the trip begins.
- Drivers and Staff of Farrelly’s Coaches Ltd. have the right to refuse travel to any passenger who is deemed a safety risk to themselves or to other passengers, or anyone suspected of causing disruption or vandalism
- Vaping and smoking are not allowed on any of our buses. We have the right to refuse travel to anyone found breaking this rule.
- Food & drink are not allowed on buses other than water.
- Damage to the bus will not be tolerated. Passengers found damaging the bus will be removed immediately and may be refused future travel on our buses.
- Where fitted, passengers are to wear their seat belts at all times and are to remain seated until the coach has come to a complete stop
- Farrelly’s Coaches Ltd. cannot accept any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property
- Farrelly’s Coaches Ltd. have a general ‘Code of Conduct’ in place that we ask all Customers, Students, Drivers and Staff to respect. This is to ensure travel is delivered in a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
- All buses have CCTV installed. Every bus has signage informing customers of same. The footage from these cameras are viewed by authorised personnel only. Footage will only be reviewed for evidence purposes and will not be shared.
- Cancellation Policy: If your trip is not going ahead please notify our office as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the trip is due to start. Or, if your trip is at the weekend or a Monday, it must be cancelled on the previous working day; Friday. In order to successfully cancel your booking you must speak to one of the members of the Farrelly's Coaches team. By leaving a voicemail or an email you have not successfully cancelled a booking. Failure to cancel a booking may incur cancellation fees.
- No Show: No refund offered
- Cancellation <24 hours or after Friday: 50% refund offered
- Cancellation Policy for Tours: Tours must be cancelled at least two weeks in advance to receive a full refund. Tour cancellations < 2 weeks will be charged 50% of the trip total.
- Amendment of Terms & Conditions - our business continues to improve and adapt to meet the needs of all our Customers. We reserve the right to modify and amend these Travel Terms & Conditions as necessary. Please revisit the page regularly to ensure you are fully up to date.
AIT/TUS Travel T&C's
1. Farrelly's Coaches provides this service under a private contract with licensing approved by the NTA.
2. The service runs exclusively during the academic year, with breaks corresponding to lecture-free periods such as exams, midterms and reading weeks.
3. This is a cash-only service; free travel passes, Leap cards, and card payments are not accepted.
School Travel T&C's
- Farrelly's Coaches Ltd. are not obliged to carry any passenger without a ticket. Passengers must be in possession of a valid ticket, that is the most updated Term.
- Drivers and staff of Farrelly’s Coaches Ltd. carry out regular inspections of tickets at pick-up points and on-board our vehicles
- If the bus is fully booked, your details will be put on waiting list and we will contact you if there's a seat available. Priority will be given to existing passengers. Booking online doesn't guarantee a seat until a school bus ticket has been issued from the office.
- lrrespective of the payment method chosen, payment must be made for all days the bus travels regardless whether the child travels or not. This is to ensure everyone has a place on the bus.
School Travel - Code of Conduct
Students/Customers:
- Be responsible for your own behaviour. Accept the consequences of any misconduct. Respect yourself, other Passengers and our Staff, and property
- Vaping and smoking are not allowed on any of our buses.
- Food & drink are not allowed on buses other than water.
- Any students found breaking these rules will face disciplinary action. Please review the below Disciplinary Steps.
- Damage to the bus will not be tolerated. Passengers found damaging the bus will be removed immediately and may be refused future travel on our buses.
- Hard copy tickets will be issues to all students travelling. The students must have this hard copy ticket available at all times. Photos of the ticket are not accepted.
Parents of Students:
Please advise your Children about bus safety rules, this ‘Code of Conduct’ and consequences for any misconduct. Communicate and co-operate with our Drivers and Transport Staff in managing any misconduct. Be available for discussions about the behaviour of Children
Bus Drivers & Staff:
Follow the ‘Code of Conduct’ and Farrelly’s Coaches Ltd. various internal policies and procedures. Communicate in a clear and respectful manner. Promptly record and inform the fleet office of any breaches of the ‘Code of Conduct’, any unacceptable Passenger behaviour, any incidents arising and Drivers actions taken to resolve
Disciplinary/Suspension Steps
1. A verbal / written will be issued
2. Continued breaches then result in a 5 day suspension
3. If no improvement then permanent removal from all of our bus services
4. Gross misconduct will result in immediate dismissal of the student from all our services without any of the above mentioned notices
